(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency) Aqaba, June 28 (Petra) -- The Aqaba Special Economic Zone Authority (ASEZA) on Thursday sponsored a meeting brining together representatives of satellite TV and international news agencies in a bid to promote Aqaba as an integrated economic system and making it a global investment destination on the Red Sea.
The event was organized by the Aqaba Media Forum under the title: "Integration of Tourism, Trade, Transport and Logistics - Aqaba as an Example".
ASEZA president Nayef Bakheet highlighted the most important achievements recorded by the Authority since its establishment, pointing to the completion of the port system, which strengthened its role towards making Aqaba a commercial, technological, tourist and logistics hub, regionally and internationally.
