(MENAFN) Sudan is still enjoying positive bilateral trade relations with South Sudan despite the political challenges being witnessed in Khartoum.
Products are still reaching South Sudan from Sudan smoothly amid current political bickering, assured South Sudan Chamber of Trade, Industry and Commerce secretary general Simon Akuei Deng.
Addressing reports, the official stated: "so far the conflict has not affected whatever has been coming into South Sudan because it is centered in Khartoum. The food that came from Sudan is already In Mangalla."
Back in June 2018, the border between South Sudan and Sudan was re-inaugurated to allow for bilateral relations to become even smoother.
