(MENAFN) A clash between the government forces and Taliban fighters in western Afghanistan's Farah province cased the death of at least four policemen and six militants as the local official said on Thursday.
On Wednesday night a group of Taliban militants attacked police checkpoints in the borders of provincial capital Farah city and police returned fire triggering gun clash, which lasted for a while causing the death of four police and six militants, said by the Spokesman of provincial police Mohibullah Mohib to Xinhua.
Mohib said that Taliban militants escaped and the security forces had been runing after them.
No statement yet to be made by Taliban militants.
