(MENAFN) Israeli soldiers arrested nine Palestinians in overnight attacks conducted across the occupied West Bank, according to the military on Wednesday.
The army emphasized in a statement that the persons had been rounded up for "suspected involvement in popular terror activities".
It did not provide any further information to explain the nature of these alleged "activities".
The Israeli army frequently conducts detention campaigns across the West Bank - including occupied East Jerusalem - on the excuse of searching for "wanted" Palestinians.
