(MENAFN) A vehicle exploded in Afghanistan's Ghazni province on Wednesday and killed the two people who were riding it including a district police chief.
The explosion happened over a mine that was planted by militants struck the vehicle of Qadir Shah, the chief of police for Khogiani district in Ghazni city and one of his bodyguards on the spot, said by provincial governor's spokesman Aref Nuri.
Nuri told Xinhua that without providing more details, the official said investigation is underway.
