7.6-8 percent economic growth likely to reach Rwanda

(MENAFN) Rwanda is likely to witness between 2019 and 2021 a great economic performance to register 7.6-8 percent of economic growth, according to a forecast the World Bank issued.

WB senior economist Aghassi Mkrtchyan assured: "supported by conducive macroeconomic policies, Rwanda continues to enjoy a strong economic momentum characterized by high growth and low inflation."

Mkrtchyan affirmed: "while public investments will continue to support the growth over the medium-term, Rwanda needs to strengthen its private sector to stay on a high growth trajectory in the long-run."

Based on the report the WB released, Rwanda is projected to see its public-sector led investments preserve the expected figures.
