New electric bus will test on multiple Panama routes


(MENAFN- Newsroom Panama) A 12-meter long electric bus will come into service on Panama highways in the coming months.

The model unit k9, a far cry from the smoke-belching diablos rojos (red devils) that once clogged Panama City streets can travel over 300 kilometers.

The bus will travel to different destinations such as Corredor Sur, Corredor Norte, Transístmica, Tumba Muerto, among other routes. The electric bus model k7, currently operates only in the area of €‹€‹Casco Viejo from 5:30 am to 9:35 am and 1:40 to 5:45 pm It has been operating since August 2018 and has carried over 50.000 passengers.
