Houthi militants kill 11 Yemeni gov't soldiers in Jawf


(MENAFN) On Tuesday, Yemen's Houthi rebel group proclaimed that 11 soldiers of the pro-government forces murdered during sniper operations in the nation's northeastern province of Jawf.

According to the Houthi-affiliated Masirah television network, the group's sniper unit murdered nearly 11 soldiers of the Saudi-backed Yemeni government forces in Maslub front to the western part of Jawf close to the borders with Saudi Arabia.

It affirmed that the Houthi militants launched an unexpected military operation from three different directions and caused heavy casualties on the government forces in Maslub area.
