(MENAFN- Colombo Gazette) The second girl who was admitted to hospital after drowning in Kirinda was pronounced dead today.
Earlier her father and sister had died after drowning while she and her mother were admitted to hospital in serious condition.
The family had gone for a sea bath when tragedy struck.
The mother (33) and daughter had been receiving treatment at the ICU of the Debarawewa hospital where the girl had later passed away.
The mother has been transferred to the Ampara hospital for further treatment.
