Macao maintains travel alert on Sri Lanka after emergency extension


(MENAFN- Colombo Gazette) Macao announced today that it has decided to maintain the travel alert on Sri Lanka after the Sri Lankan Government extended the state of emergency by another month.

The Tourism Crisis Management Office in Macao said that in view of the announcement on June 22nd of the one-month extension of the national state of emergency in Sri Lanka, Macao residents have been reminded that the Level 2 Travel Alert issued to Sri Lanka remains in force.

Macao residents who intend to travel to or are already in Sri Lanka should reconsider for the moment the travel. It is suggested to avoid non-essential travel to Sri Lanka.
