(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) JEDDAH, June 24 (KUNA) -- Saudi King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and visiting US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo on Monday tackled the current regional and international events and ongoing efforts to address them.
They also discussed strategic relations between Saudi Arabia and the US, the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported.
Before embarking on a Gulf tour that will also take him to the UAE, Pompeo said on Sunday his talks with Saudi and UAE officials would focus on ways of promoting cooperation between Washington and the two Gulf countries, along with the Iranian row. (end)
