Zimbabwe targets further exports to China

(MENAFN) Zimbabwe is seeking an opportunity during the anticipated China-Africa Economic and Trade Expo, using such an event to increase its exports to China.

China's Hunan Province is hosting the event starting June 27-29, exploiting it as an agent for innovative mechanism for economic and trade ties among China and the African continent.

Reinforcing cooperation with China is the target of Zimbabwe, as affirmed permanent secretary in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Trade, James Manzou.

Boosting collaboration in agriculture, mining and tourism fields is particularly significant to Zimbabwe, the official stressed.

Manzou stated: "we have agricultural products that China can grow here because we have a beautiful climate which is very good for agriculture."
