Development came into force from beginning of 2016 after adoption of the same at the United Nations Sustainable Development Summit in September 2015. Some of the SDG goals which invoke significant interest to me encompass areas such as poverty, food security, energy, economy, climate and sustainable cities.

The top four emitters in carbon emissions were China, the US, the European Union and India. International trade is considered an important means of implementation for inclusive economic growth and poverty reduction. Ending hunger, achieving food security, and improved nutrition by 2030 as called for in SDG 2 is mainly about domestic policy outcomes, although agricultural trade can be a vital means.

Technology transformation is the key source for sustainable development.

Sustainable development is the one that meets the needs of the present without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs.
