Lebanon seals transport training deal with Sweden

(MENAFN) Lebanon secured a deal with Sweden to receive high training in maritime and land transport with a purpose to build up its capacities in the field.

Works and Transport Minister Youssef Fenianos penned the agreement with the Swedish World Maritime University.

In its report, the National News Agency (NNA) affirmed that "this will also increase trade between countries at lower costs."

It comes as Lebanon is set to launch the first ever FIATA RAME conference (International Federation of Freight Forwarders Associations in the Region of Africa and Middle East) in the country next week.
