Crimean Tatar leader Dzhemilev going to meet with president Zelensky to dot the i's

(MENAFN- UkrinForm) The team of Ukraine's President Volodymyr Zelensky 'is not fully aware of the topic of annexed Crimea but the statements of the president are 'very adequate.

Ukrainian lawmaker, Crimean Tatar leader, former presidential commissioner for the affairs of Crimean Tatars Mustafa Dzhemilev expressed such an opinion to Radio Liberty's Crimea.Realities project on June 19.

'So far, we have conversations at the level of advisers and assistants. Now the meeting is being prepared and the range of talking points will be determined. I think this meeting is needed to dot the i's and cross the t's. In addition, we have the impression that the new team is not fully aware of what Crimea is and the importance of this topic. We judge by the answers which the Zelensky team gave between the first and second rounds of the presidential election, Dzhemilev said.

On the other hand, according to Dzhemilev, the statements on Crimea made by Zelensky himself are "very adequate, good and normal."

Earlier, Volodymyr Zelensky underscored in an interview with Bild that he would tell Russian President Vladimir Putin during their first meeting that 'Donbas and Crimea are Ukraine.
