Cooperation with IMF to help reduce external debts Zelensky

(MENAFN- UkrinForm) Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has announced the continuation of cooperation with the International Monetary Fund to reduce the debt burden on the state.

He said this during a meeting with businessmen today, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

"We continue to cooperate with the International Monetary Fund so that over the next five years we can significantly reduce and cut the cost of debt burden on the country," Zelensky said.

According to the president, Ukraine pays about 30% of the state budget and high interest for debts. Thus, the rapid development in such conditions is impossible.

Zelensky also assured that the European integration of Ukraine and the formation of a positive image of the country in the world would be continued.
