Qatar- Temporary ramp bridge closure at Bu Al Yawabi Interchange for four days

Doha: The Public Works Authority, ‘Ashghal', announced yesterday the temporary closure of the southbound Ramp Bridge at Bu Al Yawabi Interchange for traffic coming from Doha via G-Ring Road and heading towards Mesaieed, starting Sunday, June 23, 2019 for four days only, to enable the execution of necessary maintenance works.

During this traffic change which is designed in coordination with the General Directorate of Traffic, road users heading towards Mesaieed through Bu Al Yawabi Interchange will reach Aba Seleel Interchange and use any of the alternative routes, as shown on the map.

Road users coming from Doha via G-Ring Road and heading towards Mesaieed will be required to exit at Aba Seleel Interchange towards Hamad Port Road, continue straight for approximately 2 km and use the first exit at Bu Ghurban Interchange towards Al Kharrara via Al Wukair Road. 

Once on Al Wukair Road continue straight to Bu Jood Interchange and exit to Al Majd Road heading towards Mesaieed. In case road users miss the exit at Aba Seleel Interchange, a U-turn can be taken at Al Bahiya Interchange and follow the previously outlined route.

In case road users miss both exits on G-Ring Road, they can continue their journey to Salwa Road and make a U-turn at Mesaieed Interchange and head southbound towards Mesaieed via Al Majd Road.

The Public Works Authority will install road signs advising motorists of the temporary closure and requests all road users to abide by the specified speed limit of the alternative routes and follow road signs to ensure their safety.
