(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency) Cairo, June 19 (Petra) -- Secretary-General of the Arab League Ahmed Aboul Gheit and Yemen Parliament Speaker Sultan Burkani Wednesday discussed the latest development in Yemen.
Aboul Gheit emphasized that "the Gulf Initiative," outcomes of the Kuwaiti National Dialogue and the UN Security Council's resolution 2216" have been the bases for any possible solution to the crisis in Yemen.
Spokesperson for the Secretary-General of the pan-Arab organization Mahmoud Afifi said: "The Secretary-General pointed out during the meeting to the Arab League's keenness to reaching a peaceful and sustainable solution to the Yemeni crisis and adopting strict measures to face hostility and terror."
