(MENAFN- Khaleej Times) An Asian domestic helper has landed in Fujairah criminal court for taking and sharing several pictures of her woman sponsor and her daughters without their permission.
The snaps she took of the sponsor's family displayed some parts of their bodies. She shared the pictures with her boyfriend, who often used to visit the family.
As per court records, the case unfolded when the plaintiff suspected her domestic helper's behaviour.
She used to hold her mobile phone from time to time while cleaning the bedrooms and sitting room. The maid once forgot her phone behind.
The sponsor was shocked when she looked into her maid's phone gallery. It was full of different images of her and her daughters in home attires in various positions.
The sponsor found out that the helper had shared all the pictures with her boyfriend toenjoy watching themas a video clip.
When asked by the court about the charges, the maid did not deny them, and remained silent. She failed to justify her action.
The domestic help added that she was in a relationship with her boyfriend, who used to enter the house of her sponsor to meet her occasionally.
The court ordered adjournment of the case to a later time this month to declare its ruling.
