Highest crude oil production sealed in Oman's PDO


(MENAFN) Petroleum Development Oman (PDO) produced 610,170 barrels of crude oil per day (bpd) in 2018, breaking a record.

In a sustainability report the Omani flagship crude oil producer issued, it confirmed that it achieved the highest production amount since 2005 with 610,170 bpd.

Last year, PDO was also able to reach of 65,300 bpd in the generation level of condensate as well as 64.8mn cubic meters in natural gas output.

According to the report, "overall the company has been able to achieve 1.205mn bpd of oil equivalent per day in 2018."

It added: "we deliver the majority of the country's crude oil production and natural gas supply, but above all we focus on delivering excellence, growth and sustainable value creation within and well beyond our industry."
