Lebanon's Tripoli to see Turkish commercial center opening


(MENAFN) Northern Lebanon's Tripoli is likely to witness the inauguration of a Turkish commercial center, announced head of the Turkey Africa Initiative Murat Ozler.

While speaking to Tripoli's Head of the Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture Toufic Dabbousi, the chief revealed that the Turkish Independent Industrialists' and Businessmen's Association (MUSIAD) is behind the plan.

Ozler affirmed: "we aim at opening a commercial center in Tripoli to activate trade ties with the country and boost trade cooperation between businessmen in Lebanon and Turkey."

He further added that "Dabbousi proved that he is well aware of the ideas that Turkey aims to implement in order to boost Lebanese-Turkish ties in a way that would benefit both countries."
