6 deals inked between S. Korea, Sweden


(MENAFN) Six memorandums of understanding were secured between South Korea and Sweden, as the two countries aim to strengthen their bilateral relations.

Under the agreements, South Korea and Sweden will boost trade and cooperation within emerging fields.

The Korea International Trade Association sealed a cooperation deal with the Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency.

Research labs from both sides also secured a document on creating new technologies involving convergence and internet-of-things (IoT), the industry ministry said.

Industry Minister Sung Yun-mo stated: "we will actively support the expansion of exchanges between the two countries' companies through the South Korea-Sweden industry cooperation committee, which will be established on the occasion of the president's trip."
