Turkey neutralize 7 PKK terrorist in Iraq's Metina, Qandil


(MENAFN) On Sunday, Turkish defense ministry stated that Turkey neutralized seven PKK terrorists during air raids in Metina and Qandil regions of northern Iraq.

The ministry emphasized in a statement that the air attacks were carried out in collaboration with continuing Operation Claw in Hakurk region, which was conducted by the Turkish Armed Forces against the PKK terror organization on May 27.

The air raids also completely damaged arm pits and shelters used by PKK terrorists, according to the statement.

Turkish government usually uses the term "neutralized" in statements to indicate that the terrorists in question surrendered or were murdered or arrested.
