Tunisia snatches 1st place in SDGs achievement


(MENAFN) Tunisia snatched the first place within the African continent in a list of accomplishing the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of which the United Nations (UN) developed.

According to the 2019 Africa SDG Index and Dashboards Report, Tunisia achieved a score of 66.01 to be placed first towards achieving the SDGs.

Based on the score, the index affirmed, Tunisia is now 66 percent nearer to achieve the SDGs that was set by independent experts from Sustainable Development Goals Center for Africa and the secretariat of the Sustainable Development Solutions Network.

The index confirmed that the top five list consist of Algeria, Morocco, Mauritius and Cape Verde alongside Tunisia.
