(MENAFN) On Wednesday, the Moroccan police attacked a drug trafficking group in the northeastern city of Nador and confiscated 12.8 tons of cannabis.
The police proclaimed in a statement that the drug trafficking has an international network.
The statement also affirmed that the raid occurred in the town of Izzan. Three suspects with illegal records were detained and a truck loaded with cannabis was confiscated.
Further search operations ended up with the confiscation of a car with false registration plates in addition to bladed arms, it added.
