Yemen: roadside bomb blast kills 3 soldiers, wounds 4 in Abyan

(MENAFN) On Tuesday, at least two soldiers were murdered and 4 others injured as a result of a roadside bomb that struck security vehicle in Yemen's southern province of Abyan, a government official informed Xinhua.

A roadside bomb explosion hit a security vehicle in the entrance of Mahfed town of Abyan province, causing a big blast in the area, emphasized the local government official, who asked not to be named.

He affirmed that the blast murdered as many as three members of the newly-recruited security troops supported by the Saudi-led coalition and wounded four more at the scene.

The wounded security members were rushed to a nearby hospital to receive the needed medical treatment, he added.
