(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) KUWAIT, June 11 (KUNA) -- Kuwait's Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah met Mali's Foreign Minister Tiebile Drame at Kuwait's permanent mission at the UN HQ on Tuesday.
The Kuwaiti deputy prime minister and foreign minister, during the encounter held on the fringes of the Security Council meetings chaired by Kuwait this month, expressed his condolences over an armed attack on a village in Mali.
Both officials also discussed bilateral relations and issues of mutual interest in the wake of Kuwait's non-permanent Security Council membership status. (end)
