Jordan- JPA to take part at IFJ conference in Tunisia

Tunis, June.11 (Petra) -- The Jordan Press Association (JPA) is taking part in the 30th conference of the International Federation of Journalists (IFJ), which opened on Tuesday in Tunis, upon an invitation from the National Union of Tunisian Journalists.
More than 300 journalists and union leaders from around the world will attend the conference.
JPA Vice President Yanal Barmawi, told Petra that the conference, which will witness the election of its administrative body and executive committee, is an important one.
He expressed his hope to activate the work of the Arab Group within the International Federation as desired.
He called on Arab delegations in the conference to support the Arab candidate for the presidency of the International Federation and the Palestine candidate to head the Executive Committee.
