(MENAFN - Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) KUWAIT, June 10 (KUNA) -- A Kuwaiti parliamentary committee on Monday gave the thumbs up to fresh amendments introduced to a draft law bearing on public tenders.
The changes encompass the National Fund for Small and Medium Enterprise (SME) Development's joining of the Central Agency for Public Tenders' board of directors, along with membership term and grievance period, MP Salah Khorshid, head of the parliamentary financial and economic committee, said to reporters following a committee meeting today.
A relevant report is to be submitted by the committee to the parliament next week for voting in the second deliberation, Khorshid added.
However, the parliamentary committee in question put an insurance regulation legislation on the back burner for a sitting due next week, he affirmed. (end)
