Kuwaiti artist showcases objects at int'l exhibit in Czech


(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) VIENNA, June 6 (KUNA) -- Kuwaiti artist Walid Sarab announced on Thursday that four of his art works have been showcased at Prague Quadrinal International Visual Arts Exhibition, the first of its kind Kuwaiti participation in the Czech Republic since 1967.
Sarab said in a statement to Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) on the sidelines of this event that his works presented during the exhibition are visual arts reflecting several classical novels, adding that he will also participate in workshops held on the sidelines of the exhibition.
He explained that the approval of his participation in the exhibition required him to work for more than two years after passing a number of international committees and arbitrators, expressing his pride in representing Kuwait in this international exhibition, thus, enabling Kuwait to attain a prestigious international level.
Sarab added that his participation is a catalyst for creativity as well as its role in the field of competition with top artists, pointing out that this participation will contribute to showcasing Kuwaiti art production excellence to the world. (end)
