Oman- Al Jisr Foundation brings families together

(MENAFN- Muscat Daily) Muscat- Al Jisr Foundation hosted an iftar event for children from Oman Down Syndrome Association and Association of Early Intervention for Children with Disabilities and their families.
The event included numerous activities and interactive games. 'We value collaborations with NGOs and businesses that share the same values with Al Jisr,' said a representative from the Al Jisr Foundation. 'These two associations are among the few that work tirelessly to develop the status and well-being of children with disabilities in the sultanate,' the official added.
As part of its ongoing activities, the foundation hosted community iftars every day during Ramadan in three locations, Amerat, Al Ansab and Ma'abela.

These iftars have served many in the community they're in, but mainly the blue collar workers who cherished a good meal at the end of their working day. It is estimated that this initiative has delivered over 50,200 iftar packets till date.

Al Jisr Foundation conducts these initiatives with the help of their staff as well as volunteers. Al Jisr continues to seek highly motivated and talented individuals to volunteer for its initiatives as they welcome applications for the year 2020.

Founded in 2010, under the Ministry of Social Development, Al Jisr Foundation is a non-profit that focuses on sustainable and socially responsible projects in healthcare and education.
