16.1 percent jump in Abu Dhabi's hotel revenues


(MENAFN) Abu Dhabi, the capital of the United Arab Emirates (UAE), stood at USD460 million in its hotel revenues from January to March 2019.

This figure marked a 16.1 percent boost in hotel revenues for Abu Dhabi on annual basis, revealed the Statistics Centre - Abu Dhabi (SCAD).

During the first quarter, the volume of hotels and hotel apartments in Abu Dhabi climbed to hit 169 from the 163 registered a year earlier, data showed.

SCAD further unveiled a 5.1 percent jump in Abu Dhabi's hotel rooms during the three-month period, reaching 33,074 rooms from 31,482.
