deductible, it may be more cost effective to proceed with a claim.
★ If you find you have a larger deductible of $500 or more, it may be less expensive to pay out of pocket for a new windshield as the average windshield can cost $200-$400.

★ If the amount of your deductible is higher than the cost to fix a chip or replace the glass, than it is better to pay out of pocket and not file a claim.
For instance, if the size of the chip damage is smaller than a quarter, AMG can
fill the damage for $110 ($80 in shop) so if your deductible is higher than $100,
it's better to pay out of pocket for one of our experienced technicians to get you
