Wedding shooting leads to charging father, son in Ireland


(MENAFN) A court has handed a father and his son seven and a half years sentence in links to a gunshot incident at a wedding in Newtownbutler, County Fermanagh.

One person have died as another has been wounded in the attack outside the Church of the Immaculate Conception in Newtownbutler.

Patrick McGinley, of Ardlougher Road, Irvinestown, aged 49, has been imprisoned for four years.

The rule occurred after he was convicted in the manslaughter of Barney McGinley, aged 63.
