Turkish airstrikes destroy PKK terrors positions in N. Iraq

(MENAFN) On Saturday, Turkish National Defense Ministry stated that Turkish warplanes hit PKK terrorist positions in northern Iraq.

The ministry emphasized on Twitter that the weapon positions, shelters, and ammunition depots used by terrorists were completely damaged by Turkish air attacks in the Hakurk region of northern Iraq.

In its more than 30-year terror campaign against Turkey, the PKK - considered as a terrorist group by Turkey, the U.S. and the EU - has been responsible for the deaths of approximately 40,000 people, including many women and children.
