Partially hot upcoming weather conditions in Jordan


(MENAFN) Moderate conditions are expected on Sunday in the hilly areas, while it will be relatively hot to hot in the desert region, the Jordan Valley and the Dead Sea, as temperatures set to drop few degrees.

According to the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD), clouds at high altitudes with northwesterly moderate winds are also forecast.

Mercury levels will slightly rise over the next two days, bringing back relatively hot conditions in the hilly areas and hot in other parts of the country, the JMD said.

Daytime temperatures expected for today in Amman will reach 31 degrees Celsius, in the northern and southern cites 29, dropping down to 19, 18 and 15 respectively. The weather will be hotter in the port city of Aqaba with highs reaching 39 degrees and lows standing at 26, the JMD added.
