Amman, May 25 (Petra)--Patriarch of the Holy City of Jerusalem and all Palestine and Jordan, Theophilus III said that "We are proud to be part of the Jordanian family that is loyal its holy land and its leader His Majesty King Abdullah II.
In a statement issued by the Jerusalem Patriarchate on the occasion of the 73th anniversary of the Kingdom's independence, the patriarch said that His Majesty has spared no effort to protect his people and safeguard Jordanians' rights.
The King he added, laid the foundations of harmony, love and brotherhood between and Muslims and Christians in the Kingdom and managed to make Jordan a state of law that enjoys freedom and independence.
