(MENAFN) The United States National Weather Service declared that a "violent tornado" has hit Jefferson City, Missouri, as victims are feared alongside heavy property losses.
The service added that a "confirmed large and destructive tornado" was spoteed over Jefferson City on Wednesday, shifting northeast at 64 km/h.
"More dangerous severe weather - tornadoes and flash flooding -expected overnight," according to Missouri Public Safety.
