Road accident leaves 4 victims burn to death in Pakistan

(MENAFN) Pakistani police declared that four people have been burned to death when a truck crashed with the motorized rickshaw, which was carrying them, close to a popular shrine in the country's south.

Police officer Ali Nawaz confirmed that the fatalities were cousins from Karachi, who were returning home late after going to an annual festival at the well-known shrine of Sufi saint Shahbaz Qalander in the town of Sehwan.

He added that the accident sparked a blast of the fuel tank of the three-wheel rickshaw, leaving it completely on fire.

Road crashes in Pakistan are very common, due to negligence of traffic laws and bad road states.
