Road accident leaves UK biker dead


(MENAFN) A blood transport volunteer biker, who was "much loved", has died in a road accident.

Russell Curwen, aged 49, of Kendal, Cumbria, sustained wounds in the crash with a Jaguar on Caton Road, Lancaster, at 19:45 BST.

He died after being taken to Royal Preston Hospital by helicopter, as Mr. Curwen's family declared that he: "died doing what he loved".

The Jaguar driver, the age of 65, from Morecambe, was also hospitalized in none-life threatening wounds.
