2 teenagers found dead in a river in Mexico


(MENAFN) Authorities in southern Mexico declared that two teenage sisters, who were on a visit to an underground river have been drifted away with the flow, as one of whom was discovered dead.

Roberto Alvarez, Guerrero state security spokesman confirmed that the sisters, aged 16 and 19, are from the State of Mexico.

They went missing amid the cave tour in Cacahuamilpa National Park.

Alvarez added that the two girls were in a group of 19 people, who wore life vests, and were accompanied by two guides.
