(MENAFN- Newsroom Panama) Jose Moreno a 61-year Chiriqui businessman and deputy to a Molirena lawmaker in the current Assembly was killed on Tuesday, May 21 when he lost control of his car and crashed into the supports od a flyover.
The accident happened at the Potrerillos exit on the in David-Boquete highway in Chiriquà province.
He was deputy to Miguel Fanovich circuit 4- 1 during the period 2014-2019,
"Witnesses point out that this person was coming at a moderate speed, so we did not rule out a cardiac problem or dizziness since the final position of the vehicle clearly shows that he lost control, which is why we are already investigating," said a police spokesperson.
There have been 18 traffic fatalities in Chiriqui so far this year.
