Afghanistan- Clash between Nangarhar families leaves 3 dead


(MENAFN- Pajhwok Afghan News) JALALABAD (Pajhwok): At least three people of a family have been killed and a fourth wounded as a result of a dispute between two families in the Dar-i-Noor district of eastern Nangarhar province, an official said on Tuesday.

Attaullah Khogyani, the governor's spokesman, told Pajhwok Afghan News the clash happened between Haji Gul Miran and Hasibullah families in the Shomil locality of the district late on Monday night.


He said three members of Haji Gul Miran family were killed and a fourth wounded in the incident. Police reached to the scene but the relatives of of Hasibullah managed to escape the area.


Abdul Karim Karimi, a lawmaker from Nangarhar province, expressed his deep concern over the incident and urged the security forces to investigate the matter.
