Qatar, US sign military agreement on NATO working procedures


(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) DOHA, May 21 (KUNA) -- Qatar's armed forces and the US Central Command of the United States Air Force (USAF) signed a formal agreement on Tuesday to establish working procedures of NATO forces in Qatar.
The agreement was signed on the Qatari side by the head of the International Military Cooperation Organization of the Qatari Armed Forces, Brigadier General Abdulaziz Al-Sulaiti, and the American side commander of the Wing 379 for air operations at Al-Amid Air Base Brigadier General Jason Armigas.
The signing ceremony was held at the Air Force Joint Air Operations Center, and was attended by senior military officials from both sides. (end)
