U.S. police nabs father over mistakenly killing daughter over drug charges


(MENAFN) Authorities declared that a U.S. father who thought his daughter was a probable intruder and murdered her on Sunday has been nabbed on drug offences.

Deputies of Greenville County, state of South Carolina, confirmed that officers dispatched to the early Sunday fire discovered heroin and cocaine in the home of Jermaine Tramone Pressley, aged 43.

Pressley heard someone attempting to access his home, so he gunned through a door, according to Sheriff's Office Lt. Jimmy Bolt.

The coroner's office added that the shooting, fatally injured his daughter, Nadeja Jermainequa Pressley, aged 23.
