Taiwan's export orders decline in April


(MENAFN) Companies in Taiwan have received fewer export orders last month, declining for the sixth consecutive month from the same period in 2018.

Export orders to the country's firms lost 3.7 percent from a year earlier to USD37.66 billion in April, recording the sixth consecutive month of decline.

For the first four months, Taiwan's export orders dropped 7.2 percent year on year to USD145.64 billion.

Meanwhile, its month on month export orders decreased 2.4 percent in April from March.
