(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) ANKARA, May 20 (KUNA) -- Turkish Minister of Defense Hulusi Akar and his Russian counterpart Sergey Shoygu discussed on Monday by phone the escalating situation in Syria's Idlib.
They tackled regional security issues, especially the latest developments in Idlib province of Syria and measures to be taken to reduce tensions in the area, in line with a relevant agreement signed in Sochi, said a defensive statement carried by Anadolu news agency. (end)
