Columbine school 1999 gun attack survivor dies of gunshots


(MENAFN) A survivor of the Columbine High School gun attack who later became a key advocate for battling addiction has been discovered dead at his Colorado home.

Austin Eubanks, aged 37, was gunned in the hand and knee in the 1999 Columbine attack, in which 12 of his classmates and a teacher have died.

He became addicted to narcotics after receiving pain medication while recovering from his wounds.

Officials declared there was no evidence of foul play in his case.
