(MENAFN) On Sunday, a blast struck a tourist bus close to the Grand Egyptian Museum close to the capital Cairo, wounding 14 people, official Ahram Online news website reported.
The Egyptian authorities have proclaimed the number of wounded people.
State-run Nile TV emphasized that the explosion destroyed the glass windows of a civilian car and the bus, which carried 25 tourists from South Africa.
Egypt is going through a severe fight against terror acts which murdered hundreds of policemen and soldiers since the military collapsed previous Islamist President Mohamed Morsi in July 2013 in response to mass demonstrations against his one-year rule and his now blacklisted Muslim Brotherhood group.
