USD250m go into Sudanese central bank from Saudi Arabia


(MENAFN) The Central Bank of Sudan, as media reports revealed, received USD250 million of aid from Saudi Arabia on Sunday.

Saudi Press Agency reported that the deposit is part of an aid package valued at USD3 billion that Saudi Arabia and the UAE will be providing Sudan with.

Under the package, USD500 million is being handed out as a deposit with an aim to reinforce the financial status of the Sudanese central bank.

Rest of the amount was decided to be offered in order to grant Sudanese citizens urgent needs that cover food, medicine and oil.
